Snetterton was the next stop for Round 5 of the British GT Championship, and heading into the weekend, JB and I knew it was going to be a challenging one. It’s a circuit that doesn’t particularly play to the strengths of our BMW M4 GT3 Evo, so the focus was on maximising every opportunity and coming away with as many championship points as possible.
Race 1 proved difficult from the outset. JB was caught up in unavoidable contact on the opening lap, leaving the car with damage that we had to carry for the remainder of the race. From there, it was always going to be an uphill battle, but we kept pushing and gathered as much information as we could ahead of Race 2.
Sunday’s second race was a much stronger showing. JB and I worked well together, and once again the Century Motorsport team did a fantastic job throughout. We were able to bring the car home P2 in the GT3 Silver-Am class, securing another podium and, importantly, another strong haul of championship points.
Considering Snetterton isn’t naturally one of our strongest circuits, it was a weekend where maximising the result really mattered. To come away with another Silver-Am podium keeps us firmly in the championship fight with just two rounds remaining.

Next up is Donington Park in a few weeks’ time. With the championship reaching its final stages, there’s everything still to play for and I’m looking forward to getting back out there.
