Double Podium Success at Oulton Park

After a really positive start to the season at Silverstone, I was looking forward to heading to Oulton Park for Rounds 2 and 3 of the British GT Championship. It’s one of those circuits that’s always a challenge, but one I really enjoy driving, so the aim was to keep building on the momentum we’d started with.

From the first session, the pace was there. The team did a fantastic job with the BMW M4 GT3 Evo, and we were competitive throughout practice, giving us plenty of confidence heading into qualifying.

For Round 2, we qualified P3 in the Silver-Am class, putting us in a strong position for the opening race of the weekend.

The race didn’t disappoint. Jonathon and I had a clean, consistent run, managing the race well and staying in the fight throughout. We crossed the line third in class to secure our first podium of the weekend, and to top it off, I set the fastest lap in the Silver-Am category, which was a great reward for the pace we had all weekend.

There wasn’t much time to celebrate before turning our attention to Round 3. Jonathon put together another strong qualifying performance to secure P3 in class, giving us another opportunity to fight at the front.

Once again, everything came together in the race. We stayed out of trouble, executed our strategy well, and brought home another third-place finish in Silver-Am. Two races, two podiums, and another really valuable haul of championship points.

Leaving Oulton Park with back-to-back podiums feels like a fantastic result for everyone.

A huge thank you to Century Motorsport, JB, my sponsors, and everyone who’s continued to support me throughout the season. It means a huge amount.

Next up is Spa-Francorchamps, one of the most iconic circuits in the world and one I’m really looking forward to. Hopefully we can take the confidence from Oulton Park and keep the momentum rolling.
